How did we get here?
Mizell’s Renovations, like many businesses before it, started as a weekend side job where John Mizell would use his expert craftsmanship to build decks and fences for people in our community. Over time, the word got out, and more and more people began to call to have work done and the business began to evolve into what it is today.
During this time, John was still working for a very large corperate renovation company. One thing that John noticed, along with his team here, was that corperate renovation companies had lost site of the customer experience. They hired call centers to “handle” customer calls and complaints. The customer became just another dollar sign on the books. Your home is your largest investment and we believe that you need a trusted partner when it comes to your renovations, not just someone to do the job. So John set out to change that for his community.
So in 2020, amid a global pandemic, John officially opened Mizell’s Renovations on the premise that you would ALWAYS we able to get in touch with us, that you would become part of our family instead of just another number. As crazy as it may have been to start a business during a pandemic, Mizell’s Renovations saw massive growth because people felt respected and the workmanship was second to none.
Today, we have not let up. Mizell’s Renovations is continuing to grow and we look forward to seeing what the future holds for us but, most importantly, we look forward to meeting you and partnering with you for your next home renovation. Whether its just a few windows, or a bunch of windows, a patio cover, a sunroom. Whatever it is, we look forward to working with you!
